One of the easiest and commonly used Major Beard method by most people to remove facial hair is through plucking.  This is softly done by hands when is relaxing at home or effectively done by the use of tweezers which have become common tools in our homes. Use of tweezers is faster and easier for smaller concentrated areas like our eyebrows and also our chins as this method is somehow involving. The tweezers used for facial hair removal must be on a daily basis cleaned using a detergent soap and warmer water before being stored in a safer and cool dry place.

Another simplest and cheaper method to remove facial hair is through waxing. Waxing can be done in two ways; through soft wax that is placed on your chins and eyebrows, then a small cloth is used to strip the wax out. Also, waxing can be done by use of hard wax. The hard wax is poured slowly on your face or target areas, and it is left to dry and harden up slowly. The hard and dry wax will fall off your face slowly removing facial hair with it. The waxing as a method for facial hair removal does not work for everyone.  The wax might cause skin irritation for those with sensitive skin.  Also during stripping of wax using cloth or when the hard wax falls off your face, it can cause hair breakages.

Shaving of facial hair using razor-sharp blades is another common method embraced by many females to remove the unwanted facial hair. Most of the women often do this while taking a bath. Most women say that shaving while taking a bath or just after shower leaves their skin softened. When this method is used, it is advised that one applies pre-shave oils as it helps prevent after shave burns caused by the razors.
